Seema Jaswal is a Television Presenter from London, currently working with a number of UK and International broadcasters and is recognised as one of the industry’s most sought after Sports Presenters.
You will find Seema currently presenting the Champions League on BT Sport, ITV’S International football, Premier League’s global Match-Day Live coverage and BBC Snooker‘s Triple Crown events which include the World Snooker Championship, UK Championship and Masters.
Equally comfortable in the entertainment space, Seema has featured on Emmy award winning show Ted Lasso Season 2, ITV’s GMB, Lorraine, Celebrity Catch Phrase, The Chase and features on BBC’s The One Show.
Seema has really enjoyed being part of ITV football’s presenting team covering both domestic and international football. Presenting the 150th FA Cup live draw and matches was a real honour.
Seema was also able to clock up her air miles covering the World Cup in Russia 2018, Euro 2020 and Qatar 2022 and is looking forward to presenting coverage of the Womens World Cup 2023.
With the tournament taking centre stage this Summer, Seema also looks forward to celebrating the rise of Women’s football at the inaugural Women’s football awards where she has been asked to be a judge.
Whilst in Qatar Seema reached two career milestones becoming the first female to host a quarter final of a men’s World Cup for a UK broadcaster and as part of the UK’s first ever all female on screen lineup to present men’s World Cup match. Two very proud moments in Seema’s career.
Seema has presented a multitude of sports as well as covering some of the world’s most prestigious tournaments. This includes the Women’s Champions League final 2022 for DAZN, Super Cup 2022 for CBS, Cricket World Cup 2019 for Star Sports, UEFA U17 Euros 2018 with ITV, Premier League coverage for Amazon Prime UK, Football Focus involving the Manchester and Merseyside derby 2018 on BBC 1, Power8 Sprints Rowing 2018 with BT Sport, British GT and Formula 3 2018 for Channel 4, FIFA U17 World Cup 2017 with Sony Six, the BDO World Darts Championship 2017/18 for Channel 4 and the Indian Super League 2015 for Star Sports.
Seema has enjoyed working with high profile brands such as Google, Adidas, Coco Cola, PayPal,BMW, Procter and Gamble, Expedia, Santander & Diageo to name a few.
Seema has also hosted a number of high profile events including the Rugby League World Cup Draw 2021 at Buckingham Palace with Prince Harry, Premier League end of season conference 2019, UEFA Champions League final 2019 with Santander, Premier League partner forum 2019, Leicester City end of Season awards 2019, FA Club Wembley Bobby Moore events 2018/19, Chelsea end of season awards 2018, PFA awards 2018, GfinityEA Sports FIFA 18, FIFA U17 World Cup draw 2017, Premier League live in Bengaluru 2017, All Star Celebrity Clasico- Cricket Superstars vs Bollywood Superstars football match 2016, Love ManUnited live 2016, Indian Super League live draft 2015, FICCI international conference on business of sport 2015,House of Commons Politics & Fashion event 2015 and the British Academy of Languages Awards 2013/14.
With Seema’s rising profile she has also been approached to speak at a number of events and share her views about the industry she knows very well. Seema has delivered a talk at Manchester City’s global Citizens young leaders Summit, the House of Lords where she delivered a speech for International Women’s day and Seema was also a panelist at Advertising Week Europe & the World Football Forum in Paris. She was also invited to share her views on Channel 5 show The Wright Stuff as a panelist, the very place she started back in 2011!
During the World Cup Seema enjoyed writing her own column for the Metro where she charted her journey around Russia. She is also a regular guest columnist for the Mirror where she shares her views on all things football and has also written for inews on e-sports. You can also find features on Seema in various publications including the Guardian, Sunday Express, Daily Mail, Hello! and OK! magazine.
Seema has been recognised for her contribution to sport being awarded Sport’s Journalist of the year at the Asian Media Awards 2018 and the Media Award at the Asian Football Awards 2017. Seema judged the presenter category at both the Royal Television Society and Sports Journalist Association awards 2017/18/19.
Completing her degree in Sociology with Politics at Royal Holloway University, Seema went on to become a qualified PTR Tennis coach. She represented Richmond Borough in Tennis, Netball & Table Tennis and it was this enthusiasm and passion for sport that helped her land her first role in television on BBC Sportsround and Match of the day Kickabout.
